This morning, the Chronicle of Philanthropy published an fascinating article entitled, America’s Generosity Divide. In it, the writers break down giving by region, income and other demographics. The results are very interesting.
Generally speaking, the middle class, the religious and red state America are far more generous than their wealthy, non-religious and blue state counterparts as measured by donations as a percentage of income. Read the entire article here:
