Happy 18th Birthday, Foundation Group!

18 years old this month!  Not me, of course, but Foundation Group.  I say this every year when the middle of September rolls around, but time sure does fly by.  It is so hard to believe it has been that long since we hung our shingle and flung open the doors.

A lot has changed over the years.  We have grown tremendously (13,000+ clients served and counting!), gained a number of incredible staff members…and had a few leave for other adventures.  We have added services, expanded our reach and stretched our imagination of what is possible.

What hasn’t changed is who we serve and why.  Our mission remains to provide America’s nonprofits with the best formation and compliance services possible so that they can focus on what they do best…their mission!

This afternoon, my team members sat down and feasted on a great birthday lunch of brisket and pulled pork with all the fixins from Tex’s BBQ here in town.  It was a great personal moment for me to watch our crew enjoying themselves and spending a few minutes of down-time together, sharing stories and laughing together.  They are an awesome group of professionals who enjoy each other and are passionate about what they do.  As a boss, I couldn’t possibly ask for more.  And it is supremely satisfying knowing the effort they put forth for our clients each and every day.

So, Happy Birthday to us!  Here’s to looking forward to the next 18 years!
