About The Merger

Yes. Foundation Group has joined the larger BryteBridge organization to combine resources, expertise and services under one nonprofit support platform.

The acquisition happened because the two companies have aligned missions and services in helping nonprofits start, stay compliant, and grow. By joining forces, they can provide a broader, more integrated set of services, technology, and resources to nonprofit clients—leveraging shared expertise to better meet the needs of organizations at all stages.

Foundation Group officially joined BryteBridge Group on October 31, 2025 when the acquisition was announced and completed.

Services will be marketed and sold under the Foundation Group brand (on the web at www.501c3.org) — now as part of the BryteBridge family — maintaining its trusted team and service offerings while gaining access to BryteBridge’s expanded tools and technology. Clients will still work with familiar Foundation Group advisors, but now with the added support and integration of the broader BryteBridge Group ecosystem.

In addition to Foundation Group, the BryteBridge Group includes several other nonprofit-focused brands that have been acquired to expand services across the nonprofit lifecycle:

  • MoneyMinder: Offers financial management software tailored for small to mid-sized nonprofits, without the excess of general accounting tools or the risks of manual methods like spreadsheets.
  • Nonprofit Suite: A full-service nonprofit-focused accounting and nonprofit CFO services firm offering personalized financial management for established nonprofits.
  • 501c3 Center: Provides streamlined, a la carte nonprofit 990-N, formation and other tools for smaller organizations.

Together with Foundation Group and BryteBridge, these brands create a comprehensive suite of nonprofit formation, compliance, and financial support.

For Current BryteBridge Customers

If you have an active engagement with BryteBridge, nothing about your current work is changing. Your engagement will continue as planned, on the same timeline, and with the same team supporting you.  Now, however, it will delivered under the Foundation Group brand.

If you return to BryteBridge for services during this tax season or in the future, you can expect the same level of service and support you are used to, along with access to an updated client portal. The new portal includes additional features and tools designed to make communication, document sharing, and progress tracking easier and more efficient.

BryteBridge Connect is evolving into our new SurePlan and SurePlan + SureComply memberships. This change allows us to offer expanded features, improved tools, and a more comprehensive support experience for nonprofit leaders.

These updated memberships include access to the new 501(c)(3) University™, a community designed to connect nonprofit leaders with peers and experts, and additional resources to support ongoing education and compliance.

If you are a current Connect member, your membership will transition to either SurePlan or SurePlan + SureComply, depending on your existing Connect level.

This change gives you access to new features and expanded benefits, including the new 501(c)(3) University, a dedicated community where you can connect with other nonprofit leaders, and additional tools and resources to support your organization.

For now, the link you use to log in to your portal will remain the same. The first time you access the updated system, you may be prompted to create a new username and password.

When the new portal URL is ready, we will provide a clear redirect and instructions so you can transition without interruption.

If you are currently working with a team member on an active engagement, there will be no change to your assigned contact.

As our team continues to grow, you may speak with a different team member when you call in. Every member of our team is fully equipped to support you and provide the same high level of service you expect.

Any existing engagements will continue under their current Terms of Service.

For any new engagements entered into on or after January 14, 2026, you will receive a new Engagement Letter at the start of the project. This Engagement Letter will outline the updated terms applicable to service delivery under our combined company.

Any active engagements will not be affected by a price change, and any existing quotes from BryteBridge will be honored for thirty days.

Our pricing and service offerings have been updated to align with our expanded, shared service options. As part of this change, we are also introducing new services, including full-service bookkeeping, to better support nonprofits at every stage.

For Current Foundation Group Customers

If you have an active engagement with Foundation Group, nothing about your current work is changing. Your engagement will continue as planned, on the same timeline, and with the same team supporting you.

Assurance™ is evolving into our new SurePlan and SurePlan + SureComply memberships. This change allows us to offer expanded features, improved tools, and a more comprehensive support experience for nonprofit leaders.
