SYDNEY WEISMAN graduated from the University Of Missouri’s Journalism school and went on to a successful career in print and broadcast journalism, including several years as a reporter and interviewer for WLS in Chicago. She opened her own public relations agency in Chicago, representing a wide array of clients in politics, the arts and retail. She co-founded WHPR in Los Angeles in 1986.
In addition to her work as her agency’s media relations manager whose skill has drawn high praise from working journalists as well as clients, she has been a commentator on small business issues for NPR’s Marketplace and on KCET’s Life & Times. She initiated the Mastering The Media™ workshop series and developed it with her partner.
