Lee has over 25 years of marketing experience, working for high-profile advertising agencies in Manhattan and Dallas and on the corporate side, marketing both business-to-business and consumer products and services. A gifted strategist and analyst, Lee has a broad set of capabilities that include strategic planning, brand positioning and messaging, campaign materials development, traditional media and online marketing (including website and social media development), public relations and project management.
She “cut her teeth” working on traditional packaged goods client Procter & Gamble while working for one of the largest advertising agencies in the world in Manhattan. She then served as the Marketing Manager for Glamour Magazine at Condé Nast Publications before relocating to Dallas, Texas in the mid-80s. Lee spent five years at Tracy-Locke Advertising, leaving there as a Vice-President to become the Marketing Director of The Container Store. In her seven years heading up their marketing efforts, Lee was instrumental in helping to establish the brand as it continues to exist today.
Her client list includes recognizable names like Verizon, Tuesday Morning, Norwalk Furniture, Bassett Furniture, Best Products, Volunteer Hospital Association (VHA) and The Dallas Morning News. Lee also has extensive nonprofit experience working on projects with Christian Community Action, Immaculate Heart Radio, the Make A Wish Foundation, Audubon Dallas, Dallas Mental Health Association, Dallas Heart Ball and The Arts Community Alliance (TACA). On a volunteer basis, Lee is currently serving on the Marketing Committee for the Dallas Arboretum as the Social Media Consultant.
Lee holds a Masters’ Degree in Advertising from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
